Oh come on man. I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be laying the blame as PIXAR's feet if Uni 2 doesn't happen. Thats a bit absurd; if the game were very popular it would find away around that.

Anyway, on to the game. The track designing option is ace, It sounds very intersting. Though you would need some VERY fast reflexes to keep up with the track, whether or not you're on the designer's side. I'm happy with the no cusomisation besides a colour, thank you very much. Last i want to see exclusive Uniracers 2 rim downloads for a small fee over DS's wireless, yah!

Here's to hoping they finally put in the last 2 MEGA stunts ;-)

Perhaps another idea, is the design idea, favorited in many popular games today. Races won = Cash, and cash can be spent on designer tires, cooler rims, different pedals, seats, and perhaps even the pointless lights, and aerials. Two tone paints, and pin-stripes/flames would be a pretty cool thing too. It would definately make racing others a bit more exciting.

And as for your designer idea, perhaps some off-road track, as well... just, keep the SNES backgrounds, no matter what.

My game mode = Career mode. Start with a rusty, oval-wheeled unicycle, and work your way to the top. Perhaps some CTF, KOTH and Tag game modes?

Blah, I'm just brainstorming.

P.S., We should start a petition...

Seems really complicated. Here's some reasons why a sequel/remake will never happen, as well as why it probably won't show up on Wii's VC:

1. First of all, DMA Design is now Rockstar North, makers of GTA San Andreas and other games like that. Ironic, isn't it, that you couldn't use a swear word for your name in Uniracers, but then these guys made GTA:SA? Ha!
2. There are legal reasons behind the Uniracers franchise being dumped. The game's a cult hit, a follow-up was a no-brainer. However, you can blame Pixar for what happened to Uniracers. You see, back in the early days, before Disney picked them up, Pixar did short CG animations. Their first to receive any acclaim whatsoever starred a red unicycle, and the stars of Uniracers bore an uncanny resemblance to Pixar's creation, so production and sale of Uniracers was halted. It's a shame that Pixar couldn't find a better solution, such as jumping on board for a remake, but could you imagine the state of gaming today if DMA teamed up with a company that got sold to Disney?....Well at least the Pirates of the Caribbean game wouldn't have sucked, but I bet Uniracers 2 would have.

Personally I'd rather see a 2.5D Uniracers on the Wii. Your multiplayer track-editing on the fly version seems like a good idea in theory, but would probably never work. Not that a track editor wouldn't be a cool addition, where the stylus would definitely come in handy.
